Riber receives order for two MBE 6000 production systems, plus option for four more
Riber S.A. of Bezons, France – which manufactures molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and effusion cells – has received an order from industrial client for two MBE 6000 production systems (for delivery this year) worth a total of several million euros, as well as options for four additional MBE 6000 systems.
With about 40 systems in operation worldwide, the MBE 6000 is claimed to be the benchmark MBE system for the mass production of electronic and optoelectronic device material used in telecommunications and fiber-optic networks.
