Skyworks and Qorvo announce expected leadership team for combined company
Skyworks Solutions Inc of Irvine, CA, USA and Qorvo Inc of Greensboro, NC, USA have announced the expected executive leadership team for the combined company, effective upon completion of the pending transaction.
This follows the firms’ agreement last October to merge in a cash-and-stock transaction that values the combined enterprise at about $22bn, creating a US-based supplier of high-performance RF, analog and mixed-signal semiconductors.
“Our expected leadership team unites deep industry expertise, proven operating experience and a shared commitment to helping customers solve their most complex challenges,” says Skyworks’ president & CEO Phil Brace, who will serve as chief executive officer of the combined company. “Identifying this team is an important step in preparing us to move with clarity and conviction after close,” he adds. “This group will play a critical role in bringing together the strengths of both organizations, supporting a smooth transition and positioning our combined company to realize the tremendous opportunities ahead.”
The following executives are expected to report to Brace as of the closing:
- Philip Carter — chief financial officer & senior vice president;
- Philip Chesley — senior VP & president of High Performance Analog;
- Kari Durham — senior VP, Human Resources;
- J.K. Givens — senior VP & general counsel, Secretary;
- Yusuf Jamal — senior VP & general manager of RF and Mixed-Signal Intelligence Solutions;
- Reza Kasnavi — executive VP, chief operations and technology officer;
- Joel King — senior VP & general manager of Mobile Solutions Business;
- Todd Lepinski — senior VP, sales & marketing;
- Frank Stewart — senior VP & president of Advanced Cellular.
