Synova appoints Philippe Senn as COO

Synova of Lausanne, Switzerland, a provider of water jet-guided laser technology, has appointed Philippe Senn to the newly created position of chief operating officer, reporting to the president and chief executive officer, Bernold Richerzhagen.

Senn will manage all the company’s day-to-day activities, with a focus on operational efficiency, business growth, and corporate strategy. He has over twenty years experience in high-technology market sectors. His previous roles include: supply chain manager at Iomega; procurement and operations director at Agilent Technologies; and seventeen years at Hewlett-Packard, in various finance, sales and operational management positions. He began his career in sales with ABB, Switzerland. Senn has a master's degree in electronics engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne.
