EnerPlex to exhibit new product lines at Outdoor Retailer Show

At the Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City (6-9 August), Ascent Solar Technologies Inc of Thornton, CO, USA, which makes lightweight, flexible copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) thin-film photovoltaic modules that it integrates into its EnerPlex series of consumer products, will release new products including the Commandr line of foldable high-wattage solar panel chargers and the Generatr line of large-format portable batteries, as well as other additions to current product lines.

The Commandr foldable solar chargers, built upon Ascent’s ‘solar-on-plastic’ flexible and lightweight CIGS technology, are about half the weight of comparable systems on the market with the same power output, while remaining far more rugged and durable than traditional glass-backed solar systems.

The Generatr series of large-format portable batteries, with capacities of 50-1200 watt hours, use modular lithium polymer battery technology, making the Generatr systems less than half the weight of batteries utilizing technology such as lead-acid, while also realizing a significant decrease in size. The Generatr series is capable of charging devices from the size of cell phones to appliances as large as refrigerators.

In addition to debuting the Commandr and Generatr Series; EnerPlex will also unveil and exhibit the Jumpr Bar, Jumpr Quad and new Jumpr Stacks, as well as an expansion of the Kickr line of portable solar chargers.
