DILAS launches homogenized conduction-cooled, line-source module at 600W, 880nm
Diode laser maker DILAS of Mainz, Germany is now delivering a new conduction-cooled, multi-bar, line-source module with a homogeneous top hat optical beam profile in the slow-axis and diffraction-limited profile in the fast-axis. The module is capable of 600W power output in 880nm±5nm.
By applying its beam-shaping and homogenization expertise, DILAS has obtained a 97.5% (±2.5%) homogenized intensity profile in the slow-axis. The line dimensions are 10.5mm x 325μm (nominal). Customized focus geometries can be offered as well.
Designed for materials processing applications, the homogenized, conduction-cooled, multi-bar modules suit solar, plastics welding, semiconductor processing and thermal annealing. They are also available with optional features to include a power monitor and user-exchangeable protection window.
