StratEdge’s new facility certified for ISO 9001:2000

StratEdge of San Diego, CA, USA has been certified for ISO 9001:2000 at its new facility, which opened last November in an expansion from its former headquarters (also in San Diego), where it had been based since the firm was founded in 1992.

The new facility serves as StratEdge’s international headquarters as well as its center for R&D, design, manufacturing and assembly & test services for its complete line of ceramic, low-cost molded ceramic and metal packages. These operate from DC to over 50GHz for high-speed digital (OC-48, OC-192, OC-768), mixed-signal, broadband wireless, satellite, point-to-point/multipoint, VSAT, and test & measurement applications, as well as aerospace stripline filters.

The 15,000 square foot facility contains a Class 100 manufacturing area for precision bare die assembly of packages. The main manufacturing lines are thick-film printing, furnace operations, plating, and microelectronics assembly, which includes component attachment, wire bonding, and electrical test.
