ClassOne moves to meet increased market demand for reconditioned semiconductor equipment

ClassOne Equipment Inc has opened a new sales, marketing, and technical support facility in Decatur, Georgia, USA, from which it aims to expand its supply of fully reconditioned semiconductor processing equipment, such as mask aligners, etchers, polishers, dicing saws, and microscopes.

The company says that the new 40,000 square foot facility will significantly expand its capabilities in the refurbished semiconductor and nanotech equipment market. The facility features 10,000 square feet of lab space, for refurbishing, showcasing and demonstrating equipment, and where customers can preview and test equipment prior to purchasing.

“When we opened our former 10,000 sq. ft. facility in April 2005, we believed we had enough room to expand for the next five years. Two years later, due to incredible growth in our business, we have moved into a facility four times the size of our previous facility,” said Byron Exarcos, president of ClassOne. “This new facility will provide us with the additional capacity we require to support our growing staff, provide us with the ever increasing amount of space we need to showcase and store our burgeoning inventory, and provide us with the additional room we need for upcoming product lines.”
