Title: Experienced European Technical Sales Territory Manager

Job Description

Logitech Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an experienced European Technical Sales Territory Manager to join our market leading precision materials technology company. 

Your primary goal is to identify, develop and generate new business opportunities in overseas markets, primarily selling to Universities, Government Laboratories, Scientific Institutions and High Technology Companies.

Although you will be based at our offices in Old Kilpatrick, you will split your time between the office and in-field travel to Europe.

Key features of the job include:

  • Driving growth through the targeting of new and existing business, in line with business strategy.
  • Generation of Logitech equipment sales.
  • Identifying and understanding customer needs to deliver the relevant product solution, this includes negotiation of contracts.
  • Travelling to visit existing and potential customers.
  • Provision of customer support to maintain, develop and nurture customer relationships.
  • Supporting and motivating distributors within your territory.
  • Representing Logitech Ltd at trade shows, exhibitions and seminars, and developing further sales opportunities from these events.
  • Provision of accurate forecasts of your potential sales pipeline.
  • Effective use of our CRM system to support both sales and marketing activities.

As a sales professional with a degree qualification (or equivalent) you will possess an outstanding track record of sales and business development, where you are used to consultative selling of technical products or technology focused services.

You will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of selling to and working with dealers, preferably within Europe.
  • Experience of delivering exceptional customer service, sales growth and customer retention.
  • Solid experience of selling technical solutions and services related to Precision Engineered or Machined Components (ideally within the material handling industry).
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management.
  • Drive and maturity required to carry out autonomous function and to deliver key business targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a consultative and honest approach to securing sales.
  • Proven flair for communicating confidently with different cultures and be experienced in presenting to groups.
  • Full UK Drivers licence.
