Title: MOVPE Engineer

IQE is seeking an experienced MOVPE engineer who will be responsible for growth and manufacture of III-V based solar, optical, and wireless products. Position responsibilities will include process development, optimization, and volume manufacture of IQE’s MOVPE products. In addition, significant customer interaction will be required. The Ideal candidate will be a proficient communicator with excellent troubleshooting ability who excels in a collaborative technical environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MOVPE growth and materials characterization experience
  • Fundamental understanding of MOVPE and its impact on end device performance
  • Growth and design experience for Ge/GaAs solar cells and InGaP-based HBTs is highly desirable
  • Must be able to handle multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • BS or higher degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
  • 3+ year’s industrial experience
