Solar Frontier's CIS modules chosen by Ecoplexus for 26MW North Carolina project

Tokyo-based Solar Frontier – the largest manufacturer of CIS (copper indium selenium) thin-film photovoltaic (PV) solar modules – has announced the second supply agreement in a series of projects for Ecoplexus Inc, which develops, owns and operates solar PV projects for utility and industrial markets (with a portfolio of hundreds of megawatts across multiple countries including the USA and Japan via subsidiary Ecoplexus Japan KK).

Solar Frontier's modules have been selected for installation in a 26MW project set to begin construction in Martin County, NC, USA. Construction work will be carried out by Vaughn Industries LLC of Carey, OH (a full-service electrical/mechanical specialty contractor with more than 600 staff that has been in business for over 50 years).

"Solar Frontier's product performance and exceptional customer service were significant factors in the decision-making process for a solar module supplier of these projects," comments Ecoplexus' CEO John Gorman.
