DILAS appoints Special Systems as distributor in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine
Diode laser maker DILAS of Mainz, Germany has announced a strategic partnership (effective 1 January) naming Saint-Petersburg-based Special Systems LLC as its exclusive distributor in Russia (Belarus and Ukraine).
“For this region, we see a growing demand for our high-power diode laser components for applications such as DPSSL [diode-pumped solid-state lasers] and fiber pumping, medical, defense and materials processing,” says Dr Jörg Neukum, DILAS’ director marketing & sales. “With the appointment of Special Systems LLC, our existing customers will profit from a much better service and continuity and we will have a better access to the growing markets in this region”.
Founded in 2007, Special Systems specializes in the distribution of photonic solutions for various applications and offers comprehensive technical support through all project stages.
