MACOM demonstrating optical solutions at Fiber Optics Expo in Tokyo
At the 2014 Fiber Optics Expo in Tokyo, Japan (16-18 April), M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc of Lowell, MA, USA (which makes semiconductors, components and subassemblies for analog, RF, microwave and millimeter-wave applications) is hosting demonstrations of its optical networking solutions, which it says are suitable for data-center, client access, metro and long-haul applications.
Optical solutions being demonstrated include the following:
- 10G-PON solutions for next-generation FTTx access networks;
- 10G SFP+ solutions for wireless backhaul networks; and
- 4x28G chipset solutions for 100G client-side networks.
Senior MACOM sales and marketing professionals are on hand for pre-scheduled meetings in the Rindou Room at the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel.
