Avago joins NASDAQ-100 Index
Avago Technologies Limited, a designer, developer and supplier of a broad range of III-V-based analog semiconductor devices, has been added to the NASDAQ-100 Index by the Nasdaq Stock Market, effective 19 December 2011. The NASDAQ-100 Index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market based on market capitalization.
“We are honored to be added to the NASDAQ-100 alongside some of the world’s leading technology companies,” said Doug Bettinger, Avago's SVP Finance and CFO. “Avago's inclusion is another milestone in our evolution as a public company.”
