DILAS opens Chinese facility
DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH of Mainz, Germany, which designs and manufactures high-power diode laser components, modules and systems, has opened its first manufacturing facility in China.
With a sales office currently located in Shanghai managed by sales & marketing director Dr Lin Yang, the new facility is strategically located in Nanjing and will offer a full complement of customer support, product development and technical services.
DILAS is making a sizeable investment in China to support its growing local and global customer base, says Dr Marcel Marchiano, president and CEO. “Our new manufacturing facility is a strategic move towards globalization necessitated by our growing customer base seeking high-power diode laser solutions in China, Asia and around the world,” he adds.
