Title: HVPE PROCESS ENGINEER/MANAGER

The Role

To manage, develop and maintain H.V.P.E. processes for GaN substrate development and manufacture.

Key functions of the role are as follows:

• Responsible for the management and direction of technology development for HVPE growth of GaN
• Develop HVPE processes for GaN substrate manufacture
• Maintain equipment and contribute to design improvements of equipment
• Develop new fabrication processes for manufacturing GaN products
• Characterise materials grown using appropriate methods
• Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures

Hours /Shifts         

• Monday – Friday  9.00am – 5.30-pm                          

Education background

• First degree in physics, semiconductors, electronics or relevant subject
• Masters or PhD IN GaN growth by HVPE or MOCVD

Previous Experience

• HVPE and MOCVD growth of GaN
• Hands on experience of running and maintaining vacuum systems
• Knowledge of SPC and six sigma would be beneficial
• Experience of start-up environment and developing innovative concepts into real world products
